an amazing restaurant you've probably driven past...

Yesterday we celebrated two of our co-worker's 10 year anniversary with our firm and visited Cafe Sharaku in Fort Lauderdale.  I could have never guessed that in the middle of the busy and congested US-1 there would be such an intimate and delicate Asian Fusion restaurant with some of the most unique foods I've ever tasted.  I must have driven past this place dozens of times without paying it any attention. Now, even if I don't stop it will no longer be "just a little restaurant on the side of the road."  We made reservations and of course, like any good blogger, I had my camera handy and snapped a few shots for those who would like to embark in a visual adventure. This is a definite must go again kind of place! Enjoy!
1.Seafood ceviche- Shrimp, bay scallop, white fish, mini tomatoes with cilantro and shaved shallots
2. Smoked scallop sashimi- Chopped tomatoes and shallots in sherry vinegar sauce
3.Sautéed Maine lobster- Asparagus, spinach, shiitake mushrooms with shiso garlic butter
4. Peppered fresh tuna sashimi- Red, green and clear seaweed with onion ponzu
5.Eel pizza -Layered seaweed, rice, eel, and mozzarella cheese with eel sauce
6. Green Tea
7. Pineapple Coconut Mousse Cake.... amazing!!!

  3. Sounds yummy ! The best restaurants are usually in the most random places. I know a restaurant that is in an old Win Dixie plaza that has the most amazing food and everything is $$$$$$$$$$$$, pretty random.
